In this year's conference, our presenters will be addressing approaches to learning English through different content areas. Reforms in the education systems in the Gulf have meant that the nature of the English classroom has undergone a number of changes. Instead of teaching English language exclusively in general or academic contexts, increasingly we see institutions leaning towards tying English language instruction to specific content. Qatar TESOL is looking forward to presenting a wide array of presentations, workshops, posters and lectures which address the theme of Language and Content / Content and Lanaguage.
